Sometimes on Saturday morning you just want to sleep and ignore the outside that is calling your name so you can go run. You try to rationalize it so much, but in the end, you force yourself out of bed just to get in your run and so you can enjoy the rest of your day. I did relatively well for my first long run in a while, I kept a pace of 9:37 minutes per mile.....
I was sweaty and tired half-way though, however, on one of my turns a lady watering her grass said
"WOW, good for you, no wonder you have such a beautiful shape"
It got me thinking that other people help motivate up, help bring us forward and continue doing what we love. It proves we all have the determination to continue running to please other and make ourselves feel happy. RUNNING IS POWER!
sweaty after long run
I came home to drink water, eat and prepare myself for a family trip to the circus....
